His 1st Superb TV Performance in Taiwan !!

Over the past few nights (since Monday) I cant find any spare time to blog and I must say I'M SORRY bcos I spend my precious 'time' watching his video ~ ie, WeiLian's 1st TV Performance in the leading Taiwan Variety Program '快樂星期天 快樂歌喉戰'. I very much would like to share this with all my fellow frens who visit my blog!!

陈伟联出席“快乐星期天”的“快乐歌喉战舞台”节目单元，并与关主校园歌喉战中的人气王郑博夫一比高下。 他们两人都是比赛出身的，当晚陈伟联唱出熊天平的“火紫天堂”，而郑播夫则演唱“受害者”力求守关成功。评判黄舒骏、包小松和包小柏是出了名的刻薄，下评语毫不留情。不过，风格稳健的陈伟联在节目中表现出色，没有从这三位评判中获得任何负面的评语，反而被三位赞不绝口。

评判黄舒骏、包小松和包小柏是出了名的刻薄，下评语毫不留情。不过，风格稳健的陈伟联在节目中表现出色，没有从这三位评判中获得任何负面的评语，反而被三位赞不绝口.黄舒骏说，可贵的地方是，听完陈伟联以自己的方式演唱“火紫天堂”，他已经忘了熊天平怎么演唱这首歌了，伟联的演唱，也超出了技巧的问题了。小柏说，伟联的自弹自唱动人心弦，让人感动。伟联的声音很干净、技巧太好、音准太强、拍子太稳、感情太棒。

陈伟联的好声音连苏永康也为之动容！听过他的演唱后，苏永康表示，去过那么多地方，听过很多人唱他的歌，可是陈伟联是唱得最好的。

DOWRY DAY !

Last Sunday was Winson's so-called 'Dowry-Exchange Day' chinese say 'Lap-Chye' whereby the groom is supposed to present to the bride-to-be family with all the dowry items la.... So early morning me and hubby accompany him to collect the cakes and me like machiam 'mei-por' lei representing the groom side (hehehe), carrying trays of oranges, pork-leg (in cans la of cos), liquor and of cos the 'Ping-Kim' Ang-Pow (iyo winson almost forgotten abt this most impt Ang-Pow when we reached the bride doorstep). Feeling rather excited as this is like refreshing back to my last 20 yrs ago time haha so long liao ..... Lets take a look at the pics I took..(btw bride's mama very young lei, same age as my hubby eldest sister i/o my MIL ! hehe)

The rest of the day, we went round to distribute the wedding invitation cards to relatives and guess wat, most of them cant even recognise us!!(cos so long time we never meet them!!) Now I look forward to 1st Oct for the more exciting day to come ..

I found something very interesting from Grace's blog and I started to play with it too..... Let's look at my experiments and see how true ...

OMG TREMOR TREMOR TREMOR AGAIN!!

The feeling of last nite's Tremor has not even gotten over me yet and AGAIN,this happened in the early hours of 7.50am. This time round the tremor is even more terrible ~ cos I was awaken by the noise of my kitchen glass sliding door (it goes boomboomboom hitting against the wooden wall !!) Quickly I sat up from the sofa and found myself feeling giddy again!! So quicky I starred at my fish tank and confirmed that the tremor came again! Wat an experience within a short span of less than 12 hrs. No wonder ppl say have "twice sure have thrice".... at around 10am+ I saw the image of my office LCD monitor moving ~ and thats the THIRD TREMOR ................ Pray that over at Indonesia,Sumatra, there arent many earthquake victims and everyone is safe and in good care and aids.

TREMOR !!!

I was watching the 7pm korean show on Ch U and suddenly felt myself like swaying from left to right !! At that moment, I tot maybe I was having migrane or wat, so didnt care much. But that feeling continued for a while and it get more shaky!! Then I looked at my dining table hanging lamp and was startled to see it swinging. Still feeling a bit panicky, I looked towards the fish tank and I saw the water inside moving quite vigorously!! Finally I was telling myself OH NO! ITS A TREMOR HAPPENING AT MY HOUSE!!!.
I called out for Jermaine and Jamuel and asked if they felt anything ~ Jermaine answered "Ya Mummy, I felt like something shaking and I like sitting in a boat". Jamuel lagi funny! He was doing his PRIVATE BUSINESS in the toilet and said "Iyo my stomach not well nia lei, how come head oso spinning ha " hahahahaha. What an experience!!! About half an hour later, I learnt from the Tv news that there were indeed 2 serious earthquakes in Indonesia, Sumatra !!

Angus Tong & Steve Chow Live in Concert

On Saturday nite, I went with Hubby, Sharon＆Jimmy, to see
Angus Tong (童安格) and Steve Chow (周治平) Concert 2007. These 2 'shuai-ger' are household names among Chinese pop listeners in the late 80s and early 90s, famous with their many hits such as “明天你是否依然爱我”、“那一场风花雪月的事” 、“爱与哀愁” 、“青梅竹马” 、“其实你不董我的心” 、“耶利亚女郎” 、“梦不到你” 、“我就在你身边” and hits which they wrote for other singers such as Tony Leung’s “你是如此难以忘记” 、“一天一点爱恋” 、“为情所困” , Andy Lau’s “我和我追逐的梦”，Jacky Cheung’s “谁想轻轻偷走我的吻”, Emil Chau’s “寂寞的眼” and more, more, more. No doubt throughout the concert nite, they didnt talk much or interact with the audience, but their non-stop delivery of all the memorable songs and melodies had already captured all our hearts......bringing us back to those days ......... An unforgettable night for the 4 of us indeed ..........

Another 2 Wedding Blessings!

This year seems a good year for Marriage !I have 2 other good news coming from my family and frens ~ one is my niece, Jessie and the other is my collig's daughter, Michelle. Hmmm so xin-fu wor seeing all these couples tying their knots .....
My sister Joyce and family will be flying to New Zealand next week to witness Jessie's ROM and I will just 'tong-bang' my blessings and well wishes with them for Jessie & Daniel,.... Here are some pictures that Jessie sent back ....
