DOWRY DAY !

Last Sunday was Winson's so-called 'Dowry-Exchange Day' chinese say 'Lap-Chye' whereby the groom is supposed to present to the bride-to-be family with all the dowry items la.... So early morning me and hubby accompany him to collect the cakes and me like machiam 'mei-por' lei representing the groom side (hehehe), carrying trays of oranges, pork-leg (in cans la of cos), liquor and of cos the 'Ping-Kim' Ang-Pow (iyo winson almost forgotten abt this most impt Ang-Pow when we reached the bride doorstep). Feeling rather excited as this is like refreshing back to my last 20 yrs ago time haha so long liao ..... Lets take a look at the pics I took..(btw bride's mama very young lei, same age as my hubby eldest sister i/o my MIL ! hehe)

The rest of the day, we went round to distribute the wedding invitation cards to relatives and guess wat, most of them cant even recognise us!!(cos so long time we never meet them!!) Now I look forward to 1st Oct for the more exciting day to come ..
