Jamuel ~ my never-ending worry

My worry for Jamuel has finally proven me right! He did not make it for his final year and will be transferred to Sec 3 Normal Stream (A) next year. Though he did make an improvement in his SA2 but his 'very' poor performance in the early part of the year has dragged him down totally. I truly understand his capability and short-comings, so perhaps this is a better choice for him. Deep down I'm feeling upset for him as I do not know when is the day he's going to 'wake-up' and start improving on his 'never care a damn' attitude. Now I just pray & pray that he doesnt get more influenced mixing with the 'more playful' students in Normal Stream ..... haiz.........haiz........... which is what most parent is worried about!! Jamuel ah Jamuel!!! please can you just spare a moment to think sensibly and seriously reflect on your wrong-doings and weaknesses,etc, etc, and give yourself a chance to build up your confidence again and prove to everyone that you can still succeed if you REALLY want to ...... "IF THERE'S A WILL, THERE'S A WAY". Maybe he treats me as a 'Broken Record'~ always playing the same music over and over again..... and thus never really get to understand the lyrics and the meaning to it. At times, I do admit my words may be too harsh or hurting to him (which I rather it come from me then to hear it from others), but at the end of the day, I still hoping that he understands and knows my LOVE & CARE for him..... cos all this while I've never Given-Up on him. Even though if that's his life and his fate, I will never ever want to see him facing failures in future.......and that's my never ending worry for this Boy!!!.

Hi frens! sorry for not blogging for the past weeks ah 'cos my brain just run out of what to think and what to write (haha). So happy to see frens like MeowMeow & Angie visiting my blog recently ~ and hope I can continue to blog more often......

OK, for today, I will just type what comes to my mind straightaway ...

1) 松柏MV

To start off, let's enjoy an interesting MV being uploaded in Taiwan

(pretty nice and rather touching...what's more nice is of all songs, they choose WeiLian's new song.)



2) Wei Lian's radio interviews in Taiwan


Here, I must share with everyone 2 very good radio interviews of Weilian in Taiwan recently - 台湾飞碟月光家族 (by the famous & popular DJ Guang-Yu) and PRS JinGuang Radio Station. Do spend some time to listen to this whole recording esp those segments where WeiLian sang live (unplugged) and comments of those Call-In listeners.

3) S-POP Concert Recording

On Tues, we attended the S-POP HURRAY opening concert held @ MC ~ a cozy and heartwarming affair which felt more like a school reunion for the veteran performers. Held to kick off Channel U’s inaugural local Chinese music festival, the star-studded event was graced by 60 celebrities, big-time song writers and composers who made their mark over three decades. However its also one of the most 'torturing' live recording show we ever had, 'cos we virtually waited for more than 5 hrs b4 WeiLian gets to perform. Luckily, everyone spirits were still there and our Dixon DiDi as usual, shouted his lungs out on our behalf . Happy that I brought a new fren along 'Lisiang and daughter, KerYin' and glad they both enjoyed the show and Lisiang commented that when WeiLian sang, she tot it sounded like from his CD! (She loves his songs too and is now also one of the Blue Angels !!) My Hubby also came to join us @ the studio after midnight, just in time to watch 'Wu Qi Xian' singing the last 2 songs followed-by WeiLian. Last but not least, Darling 'Jermaine' went up alone on stage to present WeiLian the 'Sunflower' bouquet (too bad, no pic to show! Anyway look out for the actual show on TV on 3 Dec 07 ba! ). So proud of her that this time she just so bravely went up alone ~ cos remember last yr she was up there with Kath at the 'PuWei' show ! From the pic below u can see how time flies and She has grown bigger oso now (haha)

What u see WeiLian playing here is the Cast Puzzles that I presented him during his last year's birthday. These puzzles are marketed by my Company (Alico) and I presented it to WeiLian cos I know that it will definitely 'interest' him, knowing his 'always challenging and never-say-die' character. And True enough, he likes these puzzles very much and until now he's still playing with it and trying very hard (as and when he's free) to solve the many puzzles that I'm still giving him as and when there are new designs coming in... Let me tell you, these puzzles are not simple and easy to play and solve with.. and I must say, WeiLian simply is amazing and real smart !!

Sister Joyce's New Zealand Trip

Sister Joyce went to NZ last month to commemorate Jessie & Daniel ROM! Very happy for her as finally she gets to see Jessie settling down but think she does feel a bit sad that Jessie is faraway from her. Nvm sis, wat's more impt is Jessie is happy and able to find someone to 'sayang' & love her - be it where she is !! 7th Global Chinese Music Awards 2007 - HongKong

在组委会设置的一个特别表演环节上，“英皇一姐”容祖儿携手新加坡盲人歌手陈伟联演唱了一首《挥着翅膀的女孩》《今天你要嫁给我》组曲，这种特别的演绎方式令《今天你要嫁给我》的原唱者陶喆在台下倍感欣慰。容祖儿对于能有这样的机会同陈伟联一起合作也感到很荣幸，表示真切的希望在以后的演出中还能有合作的机会。

Finally the moment has come for Winson & Caral!! Can see the excitement and happiness on both their faces (esp Winson!!). We have been busily helping out too like taking the Bridal Car for the Wedding Decor (must say a Big Thank You to Jimmy&Sharon for lending us their Merc!) and arranging the 'Couple Bed' at the last minute (hahaha! as the Groom cannot decide how to place the position of his BED!!).
