This year 'Mother's Day' make me feel so touched..... mainly bcos my darlings seem to have grown and know how to shower me with their love & thoughts.
First was Jermaine .... on Friday, she surprised me with a stalk of pink rose which she used her pocket money to buy it from the school bookshop! (pic to be added soon!!), added with her sweet 'Happy Mother's Day' wish and a warm Hug!!!
Then the next night (Saturday), Jamuel came back with a box of "??" and said to me "Mummy, Happy Mother's Day!! I bought you your 6 favourite donuts". Regret not taking a pic of it ~ 6 round lovely donuts signifying our family of 6 ~ Ah Lao & me, Jarryl, Jamuel, Jermaine and last but not least, our lovely Sparky !!!
On Sunday, as usual I'm back to work @ Parkway and 'Lao-Gong' called to say that Jarryl wanted to buy me Dinner !! Luckily I was able to leave work earlier, and we had Dinner at the Kopitiam 'Zhi-Char' stall ~ though the dishes were norm to us, somehow I seemed to find it exceptionally delicious and enjoyed the meal .......cos I can feel and appreciate the sweet gestures coming from the kids! End of dinner, Jarryl footed the bill of $54 and immediately he had to rush to his fren's place @ Marsiling to catch the soccer match @10+pm . I already knew he was going to his frens place tat evening thus I was pretty touched when he had the heart to still arrange for this surprise dinner. On his way to his fren's place, he sent me this sms "Mummy, Wishing u a Happy Mother's Day, Thanks for being a mother who is always there for me whenever I am in need. Hope u enjoyed de dinner" . And this is my reply to him "Ya, I enjoyed the dinner of cos even if its just a burger, cos its the tot tat counts. I know u r thoughtful n sensible thus daddy n me need not worry too much for u. However we hope u continue to work hard for a better life of yourself in future!" The night ended so wonderfully with Jermaine running to me with the same stalk of 'Pink Rose' but this time with an added note (pic to be added soon)!!!
All these little little gestures from each of them is so meaningful to me and I'm going to treasure it forever, as this is the 1st Mother's Day which I really can feel what's like being an appreciated MOTHER (hahaha)!
